02-04 jdm/usdm rar tails
So i noticed this in a video, but i swear that the jdm rear tail lights a hooked up opposite from the usdm lights. so the blinker on the jdm car is where the brake light is on the usdm one and vise versa. now im not sure if that was a mod they did or if its really like that. i was just curious if anyone else ever noticed that before??
Hahaha it is true. the jdm ctr has the lights reversed. the top circle lights are the brake lights and the lower more rectangular shaped are the turn signals. mine are opposite are all of them here like that??
actually... the section that lights up when you hit your brakes doesn't even light up in the JDM version. Instead, the middle "small" rectangle right next to your reverse light is what goes on when you hit your signals.... and its also a slight pink/white/amber color.... it looks cool in my opinion.
Oh really?? wow that so weird...yeah i have this jdm v-tec video and they compare and race the ctr, itr, and the euro r because of the same engines they share so i noticed it when they were racing at the brakeing zones. thats so odd why would the us change something so useless, i mean whats the point of switching bulbs around?

That's true, especially on the UK models. They've got a bright foglight in the bottom socket on the driver's side of the car.
If (or when) I either get CTR tails or do a conversion, I really want to find a way to put a foglight on mine.
(in case anyone's wondering, the single rear foglight is for additional visibility, but without the confusion of emergency flashers [which should be used only when stopped] or having both rear lights brightly lit [which looks like somebody riding the brakes w/ the 3rd brakelight burnt out])
Speaking of which: Sould the wattage of the foglight be the same as the regular brake lights?
