Default engine oil burning or maybe leaking?

hello to all,
i had my oil changed recently and I realized that 3 litres of my engine oil is gone. I don't know if it was burned or if it's leaking but I just had my oil pan gasket changed 2 months ago,so I doubt that it's leaking, I've only driven my car for 4000 kilometer since my last oil change which was also 2 months ago. The question is: does your car burn oil and if so, how much? What could be the cause of this and is there a solution?

look under the car and check to see if there is any oil leaking....maybe the mechanic screwed up.
