It wouldn't really be responsible for someone to cut you a key for a VIN and send it to you. Why not just go to an Acura dealer?

 

go to honda/acura dealer and get one cut. They make it from your VIN#..be sure to bring ID/Registration

 

i just went today to have mine done. it was $5.99 plus tax.

no offense but saying that makes you seem real shady. so anyone could look up anyones vin # through the windshied and write it down and say its theirs and get key made that way and steal it........

goto the dealer ship yourself and have them make it, it cost like 6 bucks if its not a 00-01

WOW!!! How dumb do you think we are. You have to be a thieve. The only way I see this being a reasonable request would be if the nearest acura dealer to you was like a thousand miles away; which it isn't because their are acura dealer ships in texas.

 

I work at a honda dealer and we have something known as Hondacom. For the last year nad a half a bulletin remains on the front page reminding us about how to cut keys and when to cut keys. Proof of ownership, Vin, ID, blah blah. Do you really think someone is that stupid that they'd just cut you a key for $6 without any proof? Dumbass.
