they're not the same. jdm 98 spec tail lights are exactly like the US 98 spec. all red except for the amber turn. both 97 JDM and USDM tail lights are exactly the same.

97 spec. USDM tails have a "dark" outline around the lenses. JDM tails do not have this outline, nor do the 98 spec. USDM tails.

What is the difference between udsm 1995 intergra tails from jdm ones?
This subject has been covered before but I cant remember what the outcome was. Im hurtin my head for thinking so far back, Im pretty sure that the 94-97 USDM tail lights were different from JDM. Although at first they do look the same. I could swear the outter turn signals were half and half. Somebody posted a diagram on here and pointed it out a while back. EP knows for sure.

I made it after I got tired of seeing people spread the myth that 94-97 USDM taillights = 98+ JDM taillights.
