Default need advise in cam gears or not?

should i get some skunk 2 cam gears for my car? i already have a apex vafc..some people tell me that it going to be just for looks if i dont install cams with it...i really dont want cams right now cause then i have to workon the head ect..with a lot more $ added..so should i install the cam gears, will it help ? thanks for all the advise ...

most likely not. you'd have to seriously know what you're doing if you're going to tinker with your timing without a dyno and/or proper equipment. Just save your money.

well if your going to do more headwork down the road or even just upgrade the cams then yah go ahead. the money problem follows all of us though-- we would all love to get everything at once. besides, you have to get something new once in a while to keep yourself motivated to stay in the import scene, otherwise you might waste your money on cheap dates. ha ha

wait of money (labor wise or time wise if you do it yourself) to do it now since you have no aftermarket cams. just wait and do it all at once.
