1987 CRX
I have recently bouht a 1987 CRX and my whole crew has been doggin me about it becuase its a slow motor and its carborated and not fuel injected like everyone else.....i wanted to know...is my motor completly useless?????is there somethin i can do to make it better??????
You can do a direct drop in of a JDM brown top d16a1 that is carburated (86-87) hard to find
otherwise convert the system to fuel injection (LOTS OF WORK)

I just joined myself and have been reading everything I can till I came to this post.
I also have a 87 CRX HF 5speed trans I purchased new. I bought the factory shop manual with it too. These CRX's were standards only I believe. I bought it after my
76 Accord rusted out to where it wasn't safe and still sold it for parts for a good price.
I think the 1.5's got around 36 mpg and offered automatic transmissions in that series.
