Sounds like a whole new car. Definitely needs new rims.

That thing looked like it was really moving for only 9psi. Did I hear right when he said 30 after the new rear end?

Indeed you did....

I wonder if the extra weight from the 2JZ thru off the balance of the vehicle

Again? This has to be at least the third thread on this site and the 8th I have seen around. Enough already.

uhhhh..... $16K and you get an AFC?

Silva rear end? That won't be any stronger. Plenty of 240 owners don't even use it because it's not strong.

I think that guy just has a hard-on for the 2JZ. I'm surprised he didn't say he was going to try to mount one on that motorcycle in the background...

Well, the 2JZ isn't a Honda motor.

I personally own a 240sx also, and i have a RB25DET (skyline motor). and i use a S14 VSLD Diff.

but remember the Z32 and Skyline diff's also will work, and believe me they are strong.

30psi.... who knows how much HP that will be but i am sure it can hold up alright. i see ppl with 600+ HP on the stock VLSD's

The C30A/32A's crankshaft rotates counter clockwise. The F20C/F22C rotates counter-clockwise.

In CA, I don't think this swap would be legal considering the 2JZ-GTE is from a '98 and earlier car.

I just came back from the meet we just had, and seen this car and its sick, this is what i call real engineering. the 2jz and the f20 are abouit the same weight so the handling or the weight distribution shouldnt be compromised. it looked great sounded great and ran even better..... big props to brian and mike FL's back on the map

Yea i thought the same.

My RB25DET is a 6 cylinder and also iron, compared to the stock KA24 (or SR20) which is Aluminum... there is a noticeable difference..

isn't the ka24 cast iron while the sr20 is aluminum?

Saw this car today in Montgomery, the car is super clean. Very creative engine placement. "Notching" for the win, Alex.
