I've finally got the sohc zc in... now I just need to connect it all. Some of the connectors seem to fit perfectly, but there are some that just don't match at all. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks.

 

Ok which connectors are you having trouble with??

 

well... pretty much all of them. I didn't have much time to work on the connections today, so I didn't take much notice of what they were for. I remember there was one on the driver's side and a couple on the other side. That's about it for now... hopefully I can figure more out tomorrow.

what color are the connectors on the motor... there is no sohc zc... you put something else in there?

 

Yes there is a sohc zc but they are rare. Yeah what color are your connectors. OBD0 are milky white.

 

No, there is a sohc ZC engine. Very rare but I've seen a few before.

yep, milky white... and it is a sohc zc, as far as I can tell. ZC stamp on the block, and only one cam to be found. Seems to be exactly like the D16a6, just with different connectors.

Do you have a digital camera or access to on so that you might be able to take a picture of the connectors you are having trouble with??

If the images are a problem, describe the connectors and location on the engine or in the engine compartment (front, rear, driver's side, passenger's side...and additional specific location cues).

I have a ZC sohc in my CRX in the driveway. If the monsoon we're having ever quits, I can take a look and let you know what I see...
