I drive up my street then made a left which is a 1 way street so ive made this turn over a thousand time's since ive live on this street. I proceed to drive foward then i see a car comin toward me i go wtf this retard is comin down a 1 way now there are cars on both sides of the street. I pull to the right as much as i could i thought maybe i cleared it then Bammmm ! this ****** ripped my driver's side mirror off then keeps going slow. I told my brother get him hurry my brother proceed's to chase the guy then he makes another illegal turn going down a 1 way street and gets away. I was flipping out ive been driving for over 8 years with a clean record with no accidents now this BS because of a retard that cant drive. I filed a police report now i have too see if my insurance company will cover this i dont have a $1,000 just sitting around too fix this wish me luck guys !

Sorry to see what happened!! Deductible is what comes out of your pocket out of a repair. The higher your deductible, the cheaper your monthly payments are of course.

Hey at least mirrors are cheap. Compared to bumpers+headlights+hoods+ whatever else would have been screwed.

I'm going to put a 500 deductable on my car soon, not much on that car costs over 500 cept for major mechanical parts ect... Either way, its going to have to be something BAD for me to claim it.

 

most are 250. If it is a hit &run, then you will be paying the deductable

The damage doesn't appear to be too bad. From what I can tell, just the mirror, dented window frame, and some scuffs. I can't really tell in the pics if the door has a dent too... but from what I can tell it should be an easy fix. And under $100.

Dude I can get you a complete mirror assy. for like 50 bucks... comes pre painted and all that good ****. i wouldnt even bother going thru your ins.

Wow that's cheap i am going to a body shop on monday to see what they say i am really worried about the scuff and scratches i want them gone if the mirror and that door panel are cheap that's great. I will consider all the advice i was given thanks so much guys this really sucks but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

 

for something that small, and i know it sux since its so new, but i would NOT claim that on ur insurance because they are only going to end up paying maybe $100 and you'll pay anywhere from 500 to a grand. get the assembly from TRE_ and take it to honda to have it put on. if the honda shop wont do it, take it to a small body shop. it doesnt look like the door got a dent, but if it does try going to one of the paintless dent remover places and see if they can help. i think they usually charge around $75, so u are looking at around $200 give or take to fix it without going through insurance. sorry to hear it man.

The scuffs will probably buff out. Scratches too, but I can't make them out in the photos.

I posted the part #'s and prices above, but I'm sure TRE_ can get you a similar deal.

They did a great job on my friends car it was like 2in round dent on the fender.. as long as paint didnt chip off
