Default Black smoke on VTEC

Hi guys. Been a while since I've been around but now I'm back but unfortunately not better than ever...

I have a '97 Lude with a stock H22A4 with around 210,000 kms on it (yeah I'm from Australia and I'm kinda feeling too lazy to convert it to miles) and it's always blown a little black smoke when it hits VTEC. Recently though it has started blowing a LOT of black smoke (ie smoke screen) which doesn't look so good. Any suggestions on what caused this, and how to fix it?

Thanks all for your help on this one...

Preludes run rich at WOT and VTEC. The black smoke is normal.

Yep, rich fuel + H22 burn oil + high mileage = mosquito fogger.

Just be sure to check it every few days and keep a couple quarts in the trunk.
