I recently swaped a 96 Ls into my 96 hatch. before installing the motor I did the neccesary Iacv and Crank sensor wiring mods. Well the car started perfect the first try. After I made sure it started I finished putting the axles in and reassembled the suspension. well after I got it put together It wont start. the main relay is making a weird buzzing sound while trying to start, also there is no fuel pump when I turn the key on. the car has fire but no fuel. I have already put my relay into another car and it works fine. any ideas???????

 

check your grounds and wiring again

 

somebody told me to check my thermostat ground? does this sound like it would be causing the problem????

 

i had this exact same problem in my 98 ls swapped hatch. i took off all my grounds, and scraped the paint off where the grounds connected, and also found that my ground strap from the plate on the tranny to the chassis, lost connection. remade connection, and fuel pump primed up, all power go! and cranked right up. i'd definitely check grounds. make sure the ground to the thermostat isn't loose too.
