VX Wheels and slicks?
I've got a set of VX Wheels sitting in my garage. But my question is in regards to what iss the widest slick that would fit the VX? 22x8x13?
I tried to search but the "VX" is too short of a term. Anyone with some advice?
I've just got a stock GSR swapped into my EG. GSR Tranny w/ LSD. Goal numbers down the road are 300whp. (2yrs. away)
Thanks again guys

What about http://hondamarketplace.com/zerothread?id=1777496?
It seems to fit? What are common widths? I would like to retain my wheels if I can.

the reason there is a recommended rim width for each slick size is that the tire is designed to have a certain CONTACT PATCH when mounted on the rim.
If the tire is not mounted on the proper size rim, it will not work the way that tire size was designed. you will have too much stress on either the sidewall, the tire may extend the contact area to the sidewall, which is not designed to have contact to the ground, etc. Its just a half *** way of using a slick if you mount the tire on a wrong size rim.
