When will 2007 schedule for NHRA be released?
I would like to start planning things out for which events I could make it to, just curious if anyone knew the shcedule for next year or any info about it.
(Hoping Norwalk, OH hits the list since it is now NHRA)

Sources say there will not be a turbo change for the B-series in SFWD, but there will be something for the k-series. Also, they are trying to implement a rule for the oil containment device. I think they are trying to figure out how to word the rules for the oil containment.
On the schedule, Moroso2 is out for sure. So I think they are trying to find something to make up for that race. and trying to get denver back on. I know Texas Motorplex wants an event, but I doubt thats gonna happen. I hear Utah is a possibility too...

no offense to the Texas guys, but Moroso has good turnouts
if moroso2 is jacked for texas, i just hope the lone star state shows up, i went to two dallas races a few years back(one where they had the HIN co-branded event), and both of those races were dead as a doornail
Texas doesnt seem to support their events too well
thats not just for drag racing, HIN and Formula D have turned away from Texas events either for low spectator counts
my vote is for fontana

Keep moroso in plz. *** all those other pos tracks. Moroso brings the most spectators and racers then any of the other events period. Moroso event 1 and 2 are the best events nhra has to offer then the engisltown events.

Finals at Pomona are the BEST . Us Southern California folks wait all year long to get a run down this track. It does not matter if you are either a 8 second car or a 15 sec car we all look forward to it

Moroso is gonna be redone during the off season. Rumor has it that the owner is gonna add another 2inches of vht to the entire track with its existing 6inches, So 8 inches of vht is more then enough to get cars to hook up.

Until the swamp soaks that up too.....
There are plenty of other great tracks out there that should get a race, as much as I like having a race nearby, I'd much rather have some variation and tracks that offer record breaking in performance not the number of wrecks.

the april event was a great event. now the one in august was a nightmare...but i was at moroso last friday night and they were talking about redoing the track and moving the tower and everything.

You said a mouthful. Moroso always has a great turnout, but it also has a great amount of rainfall. Also, it just has never been a good track each and every time we've gone there. We always get the worst possible dates for that event, and quite a few teams have to travel 18+ hours (at today's fuel prices) to race at an event where we may not even get to start the car up.
