Default What ecu should I use?

I just swaped in a DOHC ZC and it`s running great but i`m using my pm6. I know i should use either the 88-89 integra(pm7) or even better the pg7(ZC) but will these make any difference in performace or just use more gas.

I just want to know what is the best to use as far as gas mileage and best performance. I want to use the pg7 but people say theres not much difference and it just burns more fuel. Let me know cuase i don`t really want to waste the money and end up spending more money for nothing. Thanks for any info.

If you want better gas mileage stick with the PM6. The PG7/PM7 have a little more agressive fuel mapping, but the PM7 seems to run less rich than the PG7 becuase it's for a manual trans, not an automatic. Although I've yet to run a PM7 progam on my ECU, I can definitely tell you that the PM6 will improve your gas mileage. I run a PG7 and it always seems to run richer.

Thats what i wanted to know. The pm6 runs the engine fine, i just didn`t know what was best to use. Some guys say holy **** the the pg7 it`s like adding 100 horse power or stupid **** like that.

If i`m not gonna notice any difference other than spending more at the pumps than i`ll stick with my pm6. Thanks for clearing that up.

PG7 will give you 700 extra RPM than the PM6 and will richen the mixture up a bit.

the 88-89 Integra is PG7 and the DOHC ZC is PM7 - performance will be better with PG7/PM7 than with PM6 - it will not use significantly more fuel - the ECU will read the O2 sensor and adjust fuel accordingly

Thats right pm7 is the ZC ecu, oops. I even read the thread before i hit post and still got it backwards. I can get the pm7 for nothingm, i think i`ll try it out for a week or so and see if there`s any real difference.
