Default Engine Swap Questions

I have a chance to buy a 93 H23 motor and automatic tranny. First, I would like to know if it will fit in my 92 Honda Civic Hatch, second, will a manual tranny from a d15 bolt onto the h23? Any help or suggestions?

It will fit, but need custom mounts. The d series tranny will not fit a h series.

if you had to ask these questions, don't bother buying this engine.

unless you're buying it to drop it and your car off at a shop and having them magically merge the two.

The D Series tranny will bolt up to the H motor. You just need to get the H2D Adapter plate. I think they are like 700 bucks tho. And you have to grind down the motor a little because the cv are bigger and would hit the motor. And they make H2D,F2D, D2B.
