OEM lip and spoiler questions
Hi all,
I'm selling my AP1, and I had a few questions about the OEM aero.
I had the dealer add them because of a screw up on their end when I bought the car, so I'm not familiar with the installation/removal.
I know that with the spoiler, the trunk is drilled. My question on the spoiler is how easy would it be to switch trunks with a non-spoiler, and is that something anyone is actually interested in, or is it too much effort.
For the lip. If I just pull the lip off, will the front bumper show signs that it was installed, or can I just remove it cleanly.
Thanks for the info.

switching the trunk should not be to hard, but if you switch the trunk the vin# will not match the rest of the vin#s....
may not be fun to explain why they do not match....

it will shows signs that one was intstalled, aside from scratches from where it touches the bumper cover( hopefully it will wax out), also there will be an extra screw hole in the front wheel fender portion of the bumper cover.....

Doing a trunk swap is prob not worth the effort. Most ppl will like it.
As per the front lip, its pretty easy to remove. Once removed though, you will see a difference in colors/rock chips/scratches. It will be obvious to any buyers that you once had a lip and they may queston why it was removed.
Overall, I think its best to leave them on there. Resell value isn't much on those two.

OEM lips are usually installed with the double-sided foam tape, so damage to the bumper should only be limited to glue and scuff marks.
As for the trunk, the swap is pretty straight forward, but adjustment takes a finer touch, and 2 people.
