hello i am hooking up my air fuel ratio gauge i just bought. and i have no O2 sensor.. is it possible to connect it somewhere else..? like on my ecu somewhere? thanks

 

you have no o2 sensor? what car do you have ect? every car should have an o2 sensor.. you would want to hook up the input wire of the gauge to the output of the sensor (either at ecu or sensor) if you give us more details about the car your installing it into we might be able to help a little more

 

how do you expect to hook up a gauge to nothing?

 

i have a 97 ls with a p28 ecu but the o2 sensor fell off when i was driving one day. and was wonderin if there was an oxygen wire on my ecu somewhere but i don't think it will work with out an o2 sensor.

why

 

most stock cars are only 0-1v, not enough do monitor anything important. i dont know exact facts but its really not worth it unles you want "wow, why do the light change so much?"

 

i bought this gauge just cause it looks cool.. some people say the narrow band are useless but some people just like stylin their car with diff looks even if the product is useless..

 

well to hook it up you need a new o2 sensor. you need an o2 sensor anyway
