Default leaking distributor

hello. i have a 90 accord that leaks oil when engine is on between the distributor and the engine block, i have taken the distributor out and replaced that o-ring but its still leaking? am i missing a gasket between the metal parts? or do i need to apply hi temp silicone? any ideas are greatly appriciated.

If you replaced the dist 'O' ring, I'd suggest that you clean the area with some brake clean spray. Then watch carefully to be sure of the source of the leak.
valve cover gasket is in that area? Maybe dust some flour from the kitchen around the area, after cleaning to be sure where it's leaking from.

Take the cap off.. and if you see oil in there.. then you need a new distributor....
