Guys i have an LS Vtec, and about 1300$ to spend, i want to go turbo, but i want to ge some ideas first? Any takers on this one??

Boost holmes, buy an ebay kit and replace parts with quality ones as you go. Tune the DAY you get it though.

 

Are the kits off of ebay decent to use.. heard some bad things and some good, so i was kind of uneasy?

ebay kits are junk.
save up and get peakbooost or full-race.

 

I'= know several people who've used $700 ebay kits. Keep in mind it's an easy way to do it but you WILL have to replace parts because they are not quality parts. If you shop around you can find cast manifolds and better turbines. My friends ebay kit has him at 205 whp for the last 7 months. Only replaced the mani.

Peice together a kit somehow, whether you go on ebay, or homemadeturbo.com

Buy parts left and right from different users here on h-t.

Make sure you have some $$$ for tuning. That part by far is most important.
