that works then.
But keep in mind i'm 5'9 and I can't sit in the back seat because my head hits the glass before the headrest

sometimes i pick up my lil bro and a rear facing infant seat in the back (middle) is kind of annoying. unless you like sitting straight up at a perfect 90 degrees. the back might fit a booster seat better. (the kind that grows with the child, when the child is able to be facing the front that is).

We traded the Girlfriends 2004 4 dr EX for a new Si, and we have a 2 year old. He was a premature baby so he is small, but we had to start him off rear facing for about a month, it was a little bit of a pain in the ***, but Doable. Once he got to face forward, I was suprised how easily he slips into the back seat. The seats in the Si slide forward really easy and the kid just pops right in there. I dont know how picky you are about your interior, but we went to walmart and bought a pad to go underneath the child seat base, but a blanket behind it, and bought on of the little pads that goes on the passanger seat that covers the back so if he decides to kick the crap out of the seat, he doesn't scuff it. But A coupe is definatley doable with a little patience
see our problem is the honda dealers want us to put a down payment and pick out a color with out ever seeing the car because of the demand of the si... we are on the fence with the coupe vs the sedan ..call me selfish but i'm extremely performance oriented and don't really want the four door but am willing to sacrafice if need to..i was told by the sales man that the interior space is different from the si to other models so i can't use the other four door sedans to see if they will work out for us... i thank all of u that responded to this thread ....
Going to address a few things off topic, but related to things you've mentioned in your thread.
First, addressing your performance-oriented concerns, you'll more than likely find no discernable difference between the coupe and the sedan, since weight on the sedan is a wash over the coupe. 0-60mph, 1/4 mile times and trap speeds should be fairly similar. The front roll bar is slightly smaller on the sedan to accomodate the larger wheelbase. Honda did their homework. You should really considerate it's practicality over the coupe because the best part about it is you're not giving up a damn thing when performance is concerned. And while a coupe could be cool at the moment, I've seen A LOT of people have to give up their Si coupes to get something with at least 4 doors because the "wifey says so". Save yourself some headache later on. I'm sure you'll love it just the same because what you're in it for is the driving experience.
Second, your salesman is a moron. Why would the interior space in the Si coupe/Si sedan be different from the R18 models? Perhaps the SEATS are shaped slightly different or more aggressively bolstered, but he/she's an idiot for telling you they two vehicles are different. They're come from the same damn chassis. Any difference is neglible and shouldn't affect your situation with seating children.
Finally, you need to find another dealer. Never let a dealership pressure you into a sale, regardless of how long a list is for a vehicle. They're not the only Honda dealership in existence. While everybody's gotta eat and pay a mortgage, there are plenty of dealerships around the United States that wouldn't do that to a customer. I myself, dealt with 12 different dealerships before finding a vehicle. Not all of those dealerships were bad, but there were a couple just out to make as much commission as possible. *shrug* Like I said, they gotta eat.
/rant and back on topic.
