Engine Whine (Searched)
I own a 1994 Prelude S h23 with 140,xxx and my problem is this...
Aside from the scratchy, load, raw exaust sound coming from around the header/cc area, my engine seems to whine at high and low RPM's.
It's not a high pitched whine, untill i bring it up into higher RPM's...but it is apparent around idle and 1-1.5k RPM's
Recently had cam seals, crank case seals, valve cover seals, and TB replaced.
I'm thinking its either a) my piston rings or b) something wrong in my valvetrain.
A few days ago i brought it up to 6k RPM's in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and it seems to run more rough since then.
If anyone can shed some light on this, i'd be really appreciative.

The timing belt is too tight. Did you put in on yourself or did a shop do it? If it was a shop I would take it back. That happened to me once and it sounds exactly like your problem.
My engine has a whine too it too and i replaced the timming belt and auto-tensioner when i bought the motor. How could my timming belt be too tight if it has an auto tensioner? I did notice the tensioner put on more tension than previous installations.
