Default auto - manual tranny mount ?s

ok i hear that the tranny mount on a auto will make a manual tranny sit high when doing the auto - manual conversion. will this cause any problems? what can i do to fix it? i have 2 junk eg shells that were originally manuals can i use the tranny mount off one of them? help thanks

You can cut off the auto tranny bracket and weld in a manual tranny bracket. Or go to http://www.jhpusa.com and buy a Hasport auto-to-manual tranny mount. Using a manual tranny mount with the auto bracket will make the engine tilt.
