Tinting gauge cluster lense
I was conversing with a co-worker at work who has used VHT Nightshades to tint the tail lights, turn signals, etc. on his Vette. Anyways, I was telling him about how I wanted to tint the lense that covers the dumby & temp/gas lights on my 93 Si (similiar to the smoked lense on the 94-96 el gauges). He checked it out and was explaining how Nightshades is kind of difficult to spray evenly and wouldn't exactly look good on that particular piece of plastic (gauge lense cover). I forgot what exactly he said. He didn't say it would be impossible, but difficult.
I was trying to find a thread where I swear it talked about tinting this piece, but have had no luck. My question is, has anyone done this before and are the lights easily seen when lit?

I can vouch for the niteshade spraying unevenly. I sprayed the tails on both my trucks and going to do the tails on the lude too. You have to have a very steady hand to get it just right.
