Rally Type R at Quebec's 2006 Rally Defi
Pics. and Video of Bill Bacon's Integra Type R.
Driver: William Bacon
Car: 1997 Integra Type R, which I believe he sold, ran a WRX STI, ran a factory Suzuki in Canada, then repurchased the type R and ran at Defi this year????
End result, was a motor problem. The other camo civic had a problem also.

That's awesome.
The funny part about that video is I could tell which car was the Honda way before it shows up on screen
(the Porsche too...that's really neat).
How are the suspension compenents and frame holding up? I'd really think stuff would be shearing and breaking all over the place?

Yea, not sure how much motor Bacon has in that thing, I knew he used to have a strong one. Durability in this sport is based on the skill level of the builder and the type of events you run. Also, some drivers are hard on cars, some are easier. Overall, I'd say that Hondas are pretty tough. The non-strut suspension is less expensive to engineer tough, beefcake struts are expensive.

Cool video.
People still standing on the outside of a turn............can't believe that. It was funny to see when the 4th car came through the right hander a girl moves to get behind her boyfriend, like he was going to stop the car from hitting her.
