Default b20

i have an automatic dx 95 civic , can i do a b20 swap with an auto ls trany? i do not want to do a 5-speed conversion because of the cutting and welding the trany brace.

that auto tranny is gonna kill you.
if you b20 and turbo youll be lucky in the 13's. if you did the manual conversion it could hit a low 12

wouldnt you rather have a 12 second car? im sorry but if the car is capable i would do everything in my power to get it to there. its not that big of a deal to convert to manual tranny. i would do it for a 1 second+ drop in my 1/4 (if mine wasnt already a manual)
besides hp+torque+auto tranny=boom

i am not shure about the tubo yet , anyway i will not be running it at the track any. its more of daily driver. i just want it to have more power. it is not much slower than my friends 93 dx 5speed with same mods.

you are gonna spend that much money on building a b20 turbo, and not spend the extra 300$ to convert it to a manual?!?!?!?!?!?!? also, i would think that the power of a turbo b20 would tear an auto p.o.s. tranny apart.........?

i said i am don't know if i would turbo it or not , it was just a thought . i am going to do the swap anyway, because there is nothing to do with the d15 . levelten makes parts for auto trany that make it stong and as good as a manual . they are the company that builds automatics for high power tt supera . if i did not have cut or weld any trany mounts then i would do a manual conversion.

If it's just a daily driver that will see no track use, then why bother swapping it at all?

I just helped my friend convert his 94 DX to manual and you don't have to cut and weld anything. I don't know why everybody says that??????
