I noticed that my idle wasn't at its best. When I move the steering wheel or push in the clutch my idle begins to bounce. When I put it in reverse it starts to stall out unless I keep it rev'd. And when im driving in 1-2 gear again it seems like its startin to stall out. I am ugrading my grounding tonight, but does any one else know what it can be? My engines been sounding a lil raspy lately, maybe ignition issue? Thanks in advance for dealing with another "idle problem" thread.

 

Have you changed anything lately? Could just be time for a tune up.

 

well to be honest I started noticing it after a recent oil change. I also did an HID install but I don't see how that'd effect it during the day

 

The only thing I installed that can effect the idle at all is a new filter. Its 4" filter on 3 inch piping. Which probly brings in a bit more air but not enough to do what its doing. Engine sounds a lil sputtery, I guess it may be time for a tune up. When I put in my intake, there was a bottom have that I had to take out that had a small throttle body on it with a vac. line. But that was taken out 4 months ago. I just have the line tucked bcuz I honestly donno what the hell it is.
