rear hub removal

Default rear hub removal

how do i remove the rear hub? is it just the one nut on the back of it? i have a 95 civic dx

There will be 4 bolts (allen, possiby saftey set screws) along with the one main bolt that you see. To access the bolts, you will need to go through the holes that are cut out in the rear of the hub. The have been put into the hub using a threadlock blue compound.

Becareful in that you don't strip the tops of the 4 surrounding bolts as it is darn near impossible to get them out without destroying the hub. I have the dubious honor of finding that out myself:
