Integra GS with head swap?
Just wanted to know if a '98 Integra GS comes stock with Vtec?
If not, would it be as simple as swapping in a Vtec head, kind of like on an LS Vtec?
And would it pass smog?
thanks

gs is not a vtec model. Its a vtec clone with a ls motor. You can get a lsvt to pass smog if its stock but it won't pass visual. I got my lil bro thru the sniffer. but the guy looked the other way on the visual. And yes you can put a vtec head on it. your local, lets do it.
Yea it's exactly the same as LS/vtec. It's basically a GSR with an LS engine. You can't just slap the head on though. Search for ls/vtec and you'll find more info. You'll need to run oil to the head and reinforce the bottom end if you want to rev to the redline of the head.
