Default welp finally did it....

gave in and took my bike to a shop. I've been having a coolant leak and the bike isn't running well so gave up and took it to a shop today. They said they could probably find the leak (pressure test since they can't wheelie test it. lol) and also get the bike running well. I dropped off the jet kit and my stock filter. It's gonna cost me my bday gifts and some speakers I had been promised but... it'll be worth it as long as I get it back and it's running well. I miss her already.

Sometimes the time spent trying to DIY outweighs the money saved. In your case I would've done the same.

Coolant leak should of been easy to fix, unless you're block is leaking the coolant then you have much bigger problems on your hands.

coolant leak was between the 2 cylinders, was intermittent and drained out my reservoir. There's 2-3 hoses in that area so it's anything BUT easy cause it's extremely difficult to tell what's going on in there

The joy of v-twins with tiny, tiny hand-spaces.

Hope everything gets solved for you for cheap.

well I'm not paying. just not getting anything for my bday. and yeah there just wasn't much room to work in that tiny space. really hard to see what's going on in there too

Doh! Guess that means no money for track plastics either.
