Can I use the crx hf bumper support for a si bumper?

 

it depends, 88-89 yes, 90-91 yes, but you cant use like a 88 on a 91, well you can but it doesnt fit right, i found that out after i went and bought on from an 88 then tryed getting it on my 91, and it fitted like ****, so i looked it up, and sure enough different part numbers, between the years, but yeah, i have a hf support on my dx and it works just fine, actually the bumper seemed to fit better with the hf support.

 

anybody else with experience?

 

It bolts right up, but since the bumpers changed, so did the supports. get the one to match your bumper.

 

rear bumper supports would be completely interchangeable too.

 

I am running an '88 HF support for my front bumper on my '88 Si. The Si/DX is super beefy and heavy, and the HF is a very light piece.

As has been said, just make sure you're working with the right year for your bumper ('88-'89 or '90-'91), and you'll be fine.
