Default ls swap... any suggestions

hey ht...

I had an automatic y7 in my 98 sedan. I hydrolocked it so it needs to go. I found a 95 ls integra, and plan on swapping the motor/tranny/brakes to my car. I figure on getting a new clutch/timing belt/water pump... also a c.f. whale *****, egay headers, reuse my cat (magnaflow high flow, 2.5"), and get a new exhaust (get a bolt on 2.5" to replace my 2.25" crimp bent $75 special).

Is there anything else i should do to it know before i go ahead and do the swap, matbe oil pump or arp head studs... i dunno, just lookin for some input. (I plan on boost down the line, hopefully sooner than later).

thnx

Mounts:
You need the side block mount and rear tranny bracket from a 99-00 Si. Not the rubber stuff, the parts that bolt to the swap itself. Your D-series a/c compressor won't bolt to the teg lower block bracket so you need to take one of the following steps: either discharge your system and install the Teg compressor w/condenser lines...OR...get a P54 or P7J a/c bracket which will allow you to bolt your D compressor onto the B block.

Electrical:
You have to keep your stock harness but need to do a few mods...
1) Do the 2-wire IACV plug conversion and swap the injector plugs in from the Integra, or get OBD2 Teg injectors so you can use your stock plugs.
2) You need to open up both your distributors and carefully remove the electrical guts, then swap them so you now have an OBD2 dizzy for your LS motor.
3) Get an OBD2a-OBD1 conversion harness so you can use that LS OBD1 ecu
4) You will also have to lengthen or relocate some harness plugs like the primary O2 sensor to reach where they need to be.

If you need to remain emissions compliant then I'd have to recommend some different steps for you about wiring. You can PM or e-mail me with any other questions, I put an LS in my 98 also.
