buying tire what brand
hey i am about to purchase some tires for my car size will be 205/ 45/ 17.. i am looking for something cheap, decent and would last... in my area theres a sale on Wanli tires never heard of them but the price is really cheap... have any of you used this are they any good? should i go with another brand instead please let me know.. tires are for daily driving located in los angeles
get the kumho spt way better tire than that wanli tire and you get the $40 mail in rebate if you buy the tires before christmas......wanli is not a good tire buy any means...if you want a decent tire then buy the yokohama es 100 or the kumho spt.......tires will give yougood dry grip handling and decent wet traction....kumhos will last longer than es 100...
if you need new rubbers for your ride. call this place in La Puente call Zoom auto parts/tires. 626-369-5400 ask for kevin. he hooked me up with 4 falken with mount and balance at a very good deal. call kevin to find out.

That's too big. The proper size for 17" wheels on an Integra is 205/40-17.

The Kumho Ecsta SPT in 205/40-17 costs $58/tire at the Tire Rack. The $40 rebate brings the cost down to $48/tire. That's really inexpensive for such an excellent tire.

What you're talking about doing is making a second mistake instead of fixing the one that is causing you a problem. All you're asking is for more trouble, like tires rubbing on the fenders or wheel wells - and then you'll probably make a third mistake on top of that. Don't get oversized tires; you're just asking for trouble.
If you want more rubber showing, then get smaller wheels instead of your 17's. You will have taller sidewalls with 15" wheels (195/55-15 or 205/50-15) or 16" wheels (205/45-16 or 215/45-16).
