I looked but the only info I could find was on the 97-2001 H22A1 but what about pre 97 and can u hone them.

rephrase pleeeese..do you mean bore out if so then you should have searched / checked faq

but i will explain shortly...if you mean bore..then yes but only using stock overbore or mahle pistons because of frm cylinder walls..also the machine shop has to be equipped to bore out frm cylinders...its often more trouble than its worth if youre trying to get performance gains...if you're trying to rescue a block than it might be a different story..but by then you mine-as-well buy a slightly used longblock

 

I did search all the stuff I found pertained to 97 and up saying that they are frm but never heard or found anything for pre 97 and I want to polish the cylinder.

 

Search for 2point6. He at first had a 2.6l built H22 then it blew and is now running a 2.44l reliably daily driven.
