strut removal
I just got some neuspeed springs for my 90 dx and im going to be putting them on soon. When im removing the struts do i need to support the strut with a jack? Anybody have any pointers let me know it would be a great help thanks
well if you're stock rite now you're gonna have to take off the whole entire shock/spring assembly off the car. then u got to compress the spring so u can remove the top hats or uppper strut mounts and then rlease the spring and it will come off and then slide the new one over...with lowering springs u shouldn't have to compress the springs to install upper strut mounts back on.
if you're asking do u need to jack the strut when lifting the car up no...just jack the car up like how you're doing an oil change or something and support it since youre going to remove the strut from the car.

alright thanks ill let you know how it goes later hopefully with some pics. Does anyone have the link to the integra springs being changed by n e chance?
You can loosen the top hat while the car is still on the ground and the when you raise the car up you will release the spring presure and you won't need a spring compressor...atleast I believe you can do it on EFs, saves a lot of time...
