I was able to reuse the stock cable and even the top mounting area on my 2000 GSR. Just clears the hood. The hardest part is getting the old many off. Make sure you get the Hondata gasket for it as well.

Its generally recommended that you switch to a ITR cable and bracket....ofcourse then you have to switch to the side pull throttle body (LS, B16 or ITR). You can also just switch out pulleys on your GSR TB. Some people get away with running the stock GSR setup, others do not. I dont have a link to a decent write-up anymore though.

the stock gsr throttle cable bracket will rub against the oem strut bar. ur gonna have to take off ur strut bar until u get the itr bracket, cable, and a new pulley. otherwise it all fits ok.

and yes. your aem cai will fit

Check the install how-to in my signature. The BLOX IM install should be similiar to the Skunk2 i would think.

Not A Bad Install, The Hardest Part Is The Damn I.M. Bracket. Get The Type R Cable And Bracket, I Just Bought New OEM Parts From Acura For A '01 ITR. It Was Pretty Cheap. It Makes The Whole Thing Look Really Clean, Like A Factory Install

yeah, just get a new OEM itr throttle cable and bracket. you'll need a new throttle body pulley too. but you can get that off any car. i would recommend a hondata IM gasket it too. it helps the passwordjdm one is actually cheaper, same style. it's a good idea to switch to a p28 as well.

you'll need some jdm hands to have good reach

i'm not too sure. it would just be the z6 settings. you should get the p28 chipped and run some kind of basemap according to your mods.

your butt dyno might need recalibrating. lol it's just for "function" purposes. you dont "have to"...but it's good to for the long run.

if u decide to use the hondata gasket with that mainfold u will need to replace your studs to longer ones, becasue the mainfold will not bolt on, cause it becomes too think so the bolts will not bolt on enough
