So back in may last year i bought my 91 crx hf from some guy who didnt know what to do with ti since he took it from his son cause the little brat wasnt being a jerk to his dad. So his dad SOLD HIS CAR to me
. Thanks ebay, for destroying some kids hopes and dreams to benefit me :-D
Ayways, on to the subject at hand:
Ive had AC troubles. When i first got the car running (in like august) after i purchased it,i tired the ac to see how it worked. The grinding wirring sound was awful followed by confetti of leaves and an AWFUL smell hit my face. I never messed with the ac for a few months. I had never messed with ac and blah blah, so i left the ac pars in until an engine swap to replace it all.
Just had my swap done from a d16y7 to a d16z6, and having my mechanic buddy cutt he ac pipes from the old engione and allow me to remove the ac boxes from behind the glove box.
What i found in there proved my suspisions correct...too bad it took so long to finally get around to it all. Atleast it didnt smell when the ac wasnt in use

all dried out and nasty like a piece of leather. icky. And my girlfriend cried when she saw it cause she tohught it was so cruel how it died. Serves it right for making a home in my car. Wether or not before i owned doesnt matter!!!

Glad it wasn't me who had stank dead mouse air blown up my nostrils.

Its funny you posted that because I think something died in my heater/blower motor in my car because it smells like roton dead animal, but the smell actually went away about 2 weeks ago. Maybe its fully decomposed now.

from those pics it looks like the stock motor sat to long and rusted out, and the crank shaft grew leaves. You could find a new hamster at the yard for cheap... and clean out that crank case
haha who would have thought that the smell was because a critter was slowly decaying in your AC blower. YUCK
