Default Eibach sportlines...

I like the price and the supposed drop they offer. made up my mind on them for the most part, unless you guys can name some that drop as much and cost as much or less would be great, but for the most part better than or equal to stock handling. my question is, for those of you sporting the eibachs, what shocks do you have/recomend for about $400 to match them? i will be honest, im a poor teenager and thats why i have such a tight budget. thanks guys.. and by the way, i wasnt allowed to go to school today because of dumbass reasons, so i searched a lot on this subject while bored outta my mind!!

Tokico Illuminas and sportlines are a good setup, I know a few people running them. Not too stiff, but better than stock and the drop is just right. You also get a lifetime warranty on the Tokicos.

KYB AGX's with the sportlines - you get adjustability, not sure about warranty. Or even Koni Yellows - also adjustable, lifetime warranty but a little pricier than KYB's.

KYB AGX here with my sportlines, 7 years and still kicken!

The Eiback Sportline drop to me is perfect.

im looking at the kyb agx's right now. i see they have the individual shocks, but im having trouble finding the rear ones for my 88. they list 89 everywhere but not 88. and why would the front two be priced differently? thanks guys

what size wheels/ tires are you using there in that pic^. i was gonna use a 15" rim with a 195 sidewall and was hoping for a wheel gap about like what you have.

This is my car on Eibach Pro Kit springs with Bilstien shocks...
ride isnt that harsh and the shocks help alot with handleing.
Sorta reminds me of the ride of my old 944
and the wheels on there are 16"

I also have Sportlines and KYB's

KYB's are nice but I'd rather go with Illuminas. My KYB's are slowly dying because of the shitty streets I live on.

Hayterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Springs are good if you just want a set drop. Coilovers are nicer if you like to mess with your settings alot and do alot of racing(auto x, drag) but a good spring/shock combo is something I suggest if you want something for the street.

I always see people spend big bucks on coilover setups and once they set them up they never touch them again.

If you're worried about being able to find shocks for your 88, you could always hit up the junkyard and get some 89-91 LCAs. ...and if you want, I'm going to have some Tokico Illuminas for the front available in a week or so! (I sold the rears locally already to a buddy of mine and I'm going with some K-Sport full coils)

ive spent hours searching, and cant find a set of four anywhere, or a rear set. i am talking about the kyb agx's. i cant decide between them and the koni yellows. Is the real name for the yellows the KONI SPORTS? thats what i see them listed as, and they are yellow. sorry for such dumb questions, just trying to save as much as i possibly can!!

Yes it is Koni Sports, they are the best out of all the choices listed and lifetime warranty as mentioned. Check out http://www.Shox.com for pricing, and they have avail for all years CRX/CIVIC.

haha, well when i bought the car i had 16's on it. When i went to put the stock rims on i realized none of the tires were installed paying attention to their direction. So.. 3 tires ended up going the right direction with the rims on backwards.

Good eye though.

Just remember -

Koni's = ****
Tokico = *****

Now which do you want in your face? **** or *****? I prefer ****.

I kid, I kid, Tokico's are fine, they are geared more for street comfort/light dutyand Koni's are good for street or track.
