These replies are going pretty much the way I thought they would! It's pretty sad that the general publics knowledge is such that this would even take off!

I should've went with my gut instinct ( intake is intake and vortexing the air stream creates more turbulence instead of forcing more in there) and just told him to take my word for it - but I know next to nothing when it comes to Foreign engines, so I didn't want to assume too much. Thanks guys!
