Cams I thought, pretty good ones.

 

cams, manifolds, some proprietary rods partnering with cunningham, etc.
all K series stuff.

some if not most of the winningest pro all motor cars run the IPS products.

IPS is not fully closing its doors.. Just not dealing directly with public, If you want to purchase product you must go through a dealer.

 

Ron announced that he was liquidating all assets, that sounds like closing up to me. He is selling all assets in order to give refunds on the deposits for their cams and manifolds that could not be delivered.

I heard someone will be using their specs and producing the cams and selling them.
It is sad because he made some very nice stuff and he is a really nice guy. He did not mind sharing all the infomation from his r&d.

I just spoke with IPS and everything is fine and dandy!!

They are working very hard right now to get the premier dealers on board.

I don't know about west coast but I'm in Ohio and can defiantly assist you!!

He is not going anywhere, if anything IPS is coming back stronger.

He just reached short of a full circle. Whether it was Norris calling or the regular internet honda racer, Ron found time for everyone. It is human nature to take this short of privilage for granted, and people did just that.

So now, he is going to take one step forward and get going again. Only this time, he is not going to do other people's homework. He has tested out of the class... He will focus on the primary goal once again...Innovation... while leaving the sales to salespeople. For those that stood by his side, nothing will change.

In a very short period of time, IPS has become the Kseries cam kings. Not because they sold the most cams, but because of the performance. Quality, not quantity.

Have you ever watched a live NBA game and the thought of jumping in that court, taking the ball and scoring the deciding 3 pointer, crossed your mind? Well, that is the story of IPS... One man, one enthusiast, driven enough to make his company a big contender in the K series honda aftermarket.

Any of you guys reading this thread could do what Ron achieved... the air produced from a butterfly flapping its wings, under certain circumstances can create a tornado...

I think all his dealers who have made a living selling his products should help Ron with a cash infusion so he can pay off all his creditors.
