CRX on a diet??
Alright i bought a 89 HF and im wandering what i can expect my weight would be if i completly gut that car out. Stock weight is mid 1800s right. I was wandering if you could get the bitch under 1600? Also, is there a write up on other weight rudicing threads on removing, NOT replacing, materials. This is not a DD so minus the creature comforts and extra safetey things, ie beams in the door on US spec cars.(idk about crx but lots of honda's have them here compaired to their j counterparts)
Thanks for any info a head of time. Yes i did search and id perfer if you kept any unnessecary comments out of here, UNLESS you get me a good link. Then feel free to flame!

more brilliant statements found on honda tech dot com . . . geesh, howabout fiberglass doors, hatch, take out the rear glass and throw in the carbon fiber deck, (truck like) cut out any inner body metal not needed, I.E. inner firewall, fender wells and such I mean you wanna lighten it up right? just ditch everything that isnt integral to keep it on the ground. and have fun, please keep us informed with lots of pics and vids of the car during liftoff lol
