what is the difrence between a 1989 ef hatch and a 1991.is there a huge difrence

 

not a huge differnce

 

a couple of things such as doors (the 88-89 have pillar mounted seatbelts whereas the 90-91 are door mounted), moulding (the 88-89 have notches in the center of the moulding and the 90-91 have solid trim), and the bumpers. i personally prefer the bumpers and mouldings of a 88-89.

small differences,,look in the pic thread on the top of the page you should be able to see for yourself.

 

bumpers tail lights and of course the gay 90-91 seatbelts on the door

Yah im not a big fan of the seatbelts on the doors in 90/91, but i would know since im on my 4th ED. The one i have right now is 89 SI, and i love the fact that there on the inside of the car and not on the door, it just looks more original/better imo, or favor...
