Default help!?

Ive got a problem....ive got an 06 civic LX, and every once in awhile when i really get on the gas, my rpm's seem to jump...i was thinking that i might have a spark plug that isent fireing right...but that doesnt seem to be the problem. All my plugs seem to be fine, does anyone have anyother ideas?

Be more specific

You state :

"...when you get on the gas... the RPM's JUMP...

Umm.. that's USUALLY what happens during acceleration.

Write it out.

Yes its an auto, and to be more specific...when i really push my car hard, my RPM's seem to jump say im goin 2000 RPM's and i floor it my RPM's will jump say to 4000 then to 3200 then to 5000, its not a constant increase.

when you accelerate in an auto the car downshifts, driving the rpm's up because the car compensating for the current gear.

Every time you manually shift, the rpm goes up and fall then goes back up again too !

Yup Yup... or the needle gets stuck, or you just feel delay because its a drive by wire car..
