Default intake question

This is my first honda with an intake, or any intake.

I was wondering how dirty my throttle body will be from having an cold air intake.

Someone told me that over time the dirt getting into the intake filter will get into
the throttle body and slow my throttle response and lose some power.

They said there is some kind of solution i could put in there and burn up the dirt.

Any input would be wonderful.

I know back in the day a little "carb" cleaner in the Intake manifold would clean it out.

But i dont think you'll have a major problem for quite some time.

Depends on if you install a air filter!

Aye, as Type X said, there's carb/throttle body cleaner out there that does an amazing job. I just installed a K&N intake and a throttle body spacer in my girlfriends Jeep Wrangler X Sport, and the carb/throttle body cleaner that I got worked wonders on that dirty bastard.
