fucked up man...
talked to this guy yesterday morning, really nice guy, easy to talk to.. asked him about the car and he told me about it, everything has been maintained and everything, offered him $3k for it and he told me he was firm on $3.4k, i asked him if he had the title in hand HE SAID YES, cuz i told him i've been dealing with a lot of people that have been really flakey and saying they have the title, and when it comes down to it they tell me they don't have it or they have to call dmv blah blah blah ... so i had my dad call him to get his opinion on the car, he liked it so he told me to get the car... so yesterday i called him about 5 times, and i left him a msg saying that i would buy the car, no answer nothing, did the same thing today, at about 8 i txt msg'd him and i ask him if he still has the car cuz i am calling in at work tomorrow to drive to fresno to pick up the car, so FINALLY txt msgs me back and he says he still has the car and he hasn't called because he has no mins, and he was gona call me at 9... so i waited and still no reply from him, i text him again and he texts me back saying that he doesn't have the title, i told him to call me SO HE FINALLY CALLS ME UP, and he tells me he doesn't have the title because something with DMV or something... so im thinking that is why he was maybe not picking up my calls and declining them as well...
im so annoyed because this is like the 4th time i have to deal with **** like this, all im saying is WHY WOULD U SELL A CAR IF U DON'T HAVE A TITLE IN HAND?
the dude that is selling the car seems like a great guy and everything, but damnit what's wrong with u people, selling a car telling people u have a pink slip in hand when u dont?
