What did everyone think? Any suggestions for next year? I hope everyone had a great time, I think it was a great show! Lots of great highlights!

It was an AWESOME EVENT as always! I been there now for 10 years. I would suggest maybe a 2 day event now since it is getting so packed? Some of the Techs in the beginning of the staging lanes did not have a clue to what was going on, after getting eliminated from Wild Street , we wanted to run ETs, the guys yelled at me and few others saying you paid for Wild Street and you are done for the day! That kinda sucked but later we were able to run.

Jason you guys have been putting on a GREAT EVENT, keeps getting better

It was an awesome event. For a first timer and the stories I heard from locals prior to the event, it definetely surpassed what I was expecting.

Awesome event. But when did you guys decide to allow Blow threw carbs with 1 power adder(being turbo). If i woulda known that i would bought a mustang down with a 350 sb and a 91mm turbo. So we left it at home cause we didn't fit into a heads up classes.


Over all...it was awesome. Maybe next year you can schedule some heads up match races like you had last year with Terris Hicks and Paul E.

 

This was one great event. One of the best events that I have been to. I am happy that we drove down from NY and I am looking forward to it again next year.

 

Would be cool if MIR could do a Import Survival Series like Englishtown. OR even do world cup twice a year. Always have a good time and good turnout at mir

 

it was a great event but the only thing I would consider is change the street stock class to run drag radials only..
since if your not even allowing motor swaps you shouldnt allow slicks either..

or not allowing v6 rwds since people bring in their 50-60k$ m3s and is350s and beat up on everybody...

1st time at the event had a really good time,great turn out.will be back next year.
was 1st time at mir will try to hit more events next year.well organized compared to my local tracks(atco,etown)

 

Great time, this was my 5th year, and it's been awsome the past 2 years especially. Glad to see some newer faces like John shepard, and Matt Keller, but we hope Jason hunt would come back with his hondas for next year, but I know he is waist deep in Pro racing.........

its the only event at MIR that i make sure i attend every year
what happened to the rotaries this year though?

 

Still my favorite event every year. I'll keep coming back as long as you guys keep putting it on. The class parity seemed better this year as well.

we allways love racing there but dont have much in the way of hondas to race. Jason is allowed us to run the turbo street cobalt, but maybe next year he allow us to run the pro car

Definitly should allow Pro cars...FWD and RWD. Then i think the show would be off the hook and be along the lines of the Pan American Nats at ATCO.

It was awesome event, thank you for keeping street stock.

My only comment is kinda tough how they called the cars to the stagings lane and withing 5 min they are doing a final call. I was pitted near the end of the track and barring me sitting there and miss walking around or watching racing It was hard to make it to back to the pits and fight the retarded traffic to make it to the staging lanes. Maybe a give a 10 min heads up saying that they are going to call X classes to the lane in 10 mins. Giving those who are pitted in another zip code a chance to get their cars and head to the staging lanes.

Great event tho, I had a blast.

 

great event with a ton of fast cars.... my **** was leakin oil couldnt race... but i was happy to see my man Ken Ward make it to the semi's i think... he won 75 bucks.... lost to the fst *** jpc mustang... but he posted up a 9.80 at 141.... even though it was an ls1 trans am not a honda.... he is still my boy and thats just flying with nitrous only!

 

Never a dull moment at I vs. D! 5 years and counting for me! Although I prefer last year's rules with Street Renegade.

 

great event as always. for me this is one of those events where it is even better being a spectater than actually racing.

making it a 2 day event would be a good idea, it always seems like it just runs too late into the evening to stick around and catch the final rounds. especially when its ball freezing cold outside.

a 2 day event would also make it easier to add in some pro classes
