What happen to the post about the broken DSS stage 2 axles?
Why was it deleted? Just curious of what happen to it. Or is it that we aren't suppose to post pics of broken stuff?
Good question... Being a sponsor of the site, i'd bet they didn't like the negative comments and pictures posted. Should it be that way? I don't think so, but it's not my site, and not my sponsors!

That is strange, i was at the drag strip this weekend and a girl friend of mine broke the pasenger side axle. She had the same ones and they were brand new. She has a 2000 integra gsr with a 75 shot and a few bolt ons, no where near 300 hp which the stage two axles are supposed to handle. When she called them they said it was just a fluke in the weld, they never heard of this happening before. Good thing is they are going to replace them.
So it really all come down to money and advertisement? Good thing I saw that before I up 900 bucks for the stage 3. I was only trying to find out the outcome before I make an informed decision. Who knows, it might have been the only bad batch of the axles. But I can't believe they just deleted the post just like that....

Why not just have em rebuilt like I do?
I usually have 2 sets on hand. one in the car, the other already rebuilt ready to
go in.

i was looking for it too. anyhow, it makes me feel skeptic still about these axles. i guess we'll just have to wait and see when everyone gets theres when the group buy is over.
Don't some of the axle companies offer some sort of lifetime warranty? Like http://www.raxles.com and competion engineering axles are guaranteed not to break.
It's apparent that Frank@dss will warranty these should they break. Lets not jump to too many conclusions yet, i'm still going to use mine.
personally i don't own a set of aftermarket. But thats not because i wouldn't...its because they aren't cheap and maybe i'm too. Do aftermarket axles make sense? yes if there is a real need and issue. Whats better? breaking axles and loosing just because you can't leave the line or spending the extra money and letting the car and driver do the rest? its your call. personally..i guess i'm a little stupid
