You must have completely, and I mean completely spun out of the hole. What on earth did you launch at? And why are you reving to only 6750?

more revs and bigger tires will get u more speed u need. So ur at the top of 4th in the 1/4 or 5th?

the 6750 rev limiter probably isnt a bad thing for the LS since its not making power up their. Mabey get a cable LS tranny. the gears arnt too long when u have a decent power.

swap the tranny cuz a j1 is a great all-motor tranny but not so good for a car with power adder's such as bottle, turbo ect..

Eeek, what was your sixty-foot?

Get some more practice.

Also, what power are you making? The trap speed seems really low...

drop the tire pressure in the bfg's to about 10psi and do a good burnout to heat them up.

Depends what engine you're talking about. Most of the big turbo guys rev HIGHER (9500 rpm+)and have taller gears than the J1 tranny.

I have a YS1 in my civic. When I cross the line it is about 100 RPM from hitting the 7200 rev limiter in 4th gear.

thats all you can really do i mean slicks maybe umm light the car up cant relly do to much with a block that has 250k mi. umm maybe try to get a block with less miles and tune the motor im sure with a tune and slicks light the car up a bit you can see some mid 13's (depend's on how you drive)
