This is for a 2007 Accord EX-L 4cyl 4dr. I was installing a cargo net in the trunk and noticed that there is no liner under the trunk lid. This is not the trunk floor but the underneath of the trunk lid. It was just bare metal and wires. Is there supposed to be a liner?
I figured I'd check out the accords at the dealer to compare when I get my plates but if anyone has an 07 accord, please check and let me know.

i have a 96, and its the same way you can see everything.

 

I dont think any accords/hondas with trunks have that lined. or any other car for that matter.

 

Actually, a lot of cars have a liner there. For Accords, I think only the 7th gen EX V6 models have it. I've seen at least 1 person with a 7th gen that had it. Acura CLs, TLs, and RLs have it too, among other cars.

 

Correct. Only the EX has that lining.

 

interesting, did they just introduce that? i know other cars have it, but i've never seen it in an accord before. (then again i never really looked)

 

I've had a few Accords. 90 EX does not have it. 94 LX does not have it. 01 LX did not have it. 06 EX has it.

 

So is it only on the V6 EX? It's not that much of a big deal but if it was there and removed for some reason prior to sale, I want to know why.

 

Yea, I have the V6 and I'm pretty sure it is only the EX-V6. You're good man, it wasn't removed or anything.
