Why do you Integra guys go turbo?
At the track it seems that Integra after Integra blows his motor from too much boost. Your motors are built to be Naturaly Aspirated *** kickers, so why not just tune for All Motor competition?
I own a crx (all motor)

Yeah if you swap a VTEC head then it would be an all motor *** kicker!
And i do have to ask b/c you changing the purpose of the motor.
My friend has a CRX with a B18A and it is turboed. Even with the
bigger motor and turbo he cant catch me till the middle of third.
So VTECers build on your gift with all motor parts and Everyone else
go VTEC, yes it is hyped but it is good. VTEC=GOOD

Exactly.. if you have to ask.. uh.. what he said.
Fully built w/ turbo... i think i'd kick the *** of pretty much any fullybuilt n/a integra out there.... but hey... trying not to be too cocky...
all motor translates into either a) I'm poor and can't buy it all at once b) my mom and dad can't know waht i have done or they'd kill me c) i'm plain poor
turbo translates into a) I have money b) want more than all motor can provide... c) I'm not afraid to take that one extra step d) I have a full time job and can afford it
Very few people go turbo, compared to all motor... why invest all that money into n/a only to go a little faster, when you can spend just a little more and go a LOT faster??
I could dig up a few people that have had allmotor setups with blown motors for you to talk to... same risk.

hehe....U gonna run outta parts to bolt-on, All-Motor boy!!....Then what u gonna do to go faster?....stroker kit?.....I'll juss turn my boost up and tune in more fuel.......
I respect All-Motor guyz....my boii on my team has an ***-kicker....i give him madd props.....but I tell him to keep any **** talkin to himself....cuzz everybody got they own wayz to go fast...

Hmm.
Becuase the replacement for displacement is forced induction?!?
I've always likened N/A power as a method for those with patience. Whereas F/I is for those who want it now.
Nonetheless, this topic = ghey.

It's one thing if you own a CRX or EG, etc... But if you're in a 2500-2700lb car, you can have a BUILT CRVTEC and only run high 12s... then what?
On a turbo Integra, you're just getting started..

ok, i know this is a lil off and wil lprolly be moved but since you all got started, i am wanting to swap my engine nad turbo it...what is the best way to go about it os i don't blow my engine. what have you guys seen that works?

Forced induction in many ways is actually cheaper than an all motor setup. Going with a turbo or supercharger with all of the needed parts can cost somewhere around $5,000. Expensive, but yes it is true, a turbo GSR will more than likely school an all motor GSR. Turbo is for people who want power now, and want a LOT of it in a sort of simple way. All motor is more for those with patience who set out their plans to modify in steps over time and really like to get into the internals of the engine. In my opinion, both setups can be bad *** and both can really move if done right. However, if it were me, which it is going to be soon, I would definitely choose the FI route just because it is loads of power real quick and relatively simple if you and your shop know what you're doing.

NA costs more to get the same amount of power. To do both correctly, you're going to have to pull the motor and invest in serious time and money on building the block. With NA you'll want to work on the head also, while u get by without it when boosting. But with turbo you'll have to invest in the obvious parts like the turbo, and piping, and intercooler.
Both you'll need engine management, fuel requirements, etc.
Different people want and like different things. I could just as easily turn this into a the rich people are wussy's and pay others to work on their car and the poor people are hardcore because they'd rather turn their own wrenches and take pride in building their own stuff. But I'm not.
In *my* case, I am poor. So I'm just slapping in R cams, valvesprings, intake manifold and dropping the 1.6 in my CRX and autoX to my content. When I do have the funds, I'd like to go all out NA on the CRX, and build and boost the Teg if I don't tire of it by then.
Well I chose turbo b/c it's cheaper to go fast with f/i than it is n/a. it's not by any means cheap, but it is cheaper to reach the same time slips. I've put more under the hood of my car then I paid for the car when I bought it with 50k miles on it.
But its fast now and i'm happy. Cobra hit the nail on the head with his comments... couldn't say it much better myself.
