Greddy turbo on 01 GSR?
Search didn't come up w/ anything specific about the newer 01 GSR's. Only found ppl that turbo'd their 96-99 GSR's.
My friend is looking into the Greddy kit for her 01 GSR, but Greddy only lists them for 96-99. Is anything different needed for the kit to work on a 00-01 GSR?...e.g. does the blue box not work for the 00-01 GSR's? Does the CARB sticker specifically state the year of vehicles that the kit was tested for?...e.g. does the CARB sticker say "96-99 Integra GSR only" making it not smog legal to put onto an 01 GSR? Thanks.

i would think its because of the different exhaust lengths. thats the only thing i can think that would make a difference in the 94-99 and 00-01 integras. i could be wrong though.
The ECU is different too.... It's a newer OBD II version... A guy up here just got the kit on his '00 GSR. I'm trying to contact him to get some input...
i think i was one of the very first to put the kit on my 2001 gsr. The downpipe needs to be extended about 3-4 inches. you also need to add a o2 bung for the second o2 sensor. The bluebox will work but you need to get a 2000/2001 wiring diagram. other than that everything else bolts up fine. it will not be smog legal in cali.
Thanks guyuenvy! Is the requirement for the 2nd o2 bung cuz the sensor can no longer reach the factory location due to the extended downpipe? If so, wouldn't it be easier to extend the o2 sensor wires?...tho, I'm not sure if this has any detrimental effects to the voltage read by the ecu. Or, get a longer hi-flow cat to mate up to the dp and b-pipe? What size (diameter) is the downpipe? Thanks!

I have come to find out that the '00 GSR that put one on up in Sac switched to a '97 ECU. He's not running an intercooler, but has the 370 injectors and BOV, and supposedly is putting around 250 to the wheels at 7psi... I'm not 100% sure I beleive the HP number, but that's what I heard... <shrug>

from my understanding if you look on a 2000/2001 gsr the header is has the o2 sensor bung in it unlike the older years. I just did the bung thing for insurance that I wouldnt throw a code. I don't know about adding wires to extend out the o2. I don't think that would be a good idea.
Isn't the second o2 sensor on the cat? If so, that's why I was thinking about lengthening the o2 wires to reach the stock cat o2 location since it's been pushed back by having to lengthen the dp. Did you put a bung on the dp just before the cat? I'm trying to see how much work is needed as my friend might not like having to do too much to make it work. Thanks.
